I am not usually a huge fan of puffy sleeves sleeves, but have been on the hunt for a style similar to this dress that Emma Stone wore quite awhile ago. When I spotted this Zara top this summer, I immediately fell in love with its the retro style sleeves yet modern crop top trendiness (that wasn't too short in length aka with a hemline below the belly button). Paired with my favorite tried and true J.Crew skirt, this outfit became effortlessly chic and garnered a lot of compliments whenever I wore it in the office (not an easy feat when you intern amongst some stylish people). In fact, during a meeting I kept noticing one of our execs staring at me and wondered if I had something in my teeth or had somehow offended her by accident. Later on we bumped into each other in the elevator and she told me how much she loved this shirt— and had been staring at it throughout our meeting. Phew.

  1. You can never go wrong with black, white and leopard! Those sleeves have just the right amount of puff. ;)
