Dorm Style // Junior Year

Not too much has changed about my dorm style since freshman year— except my new sheets and comforter thanks to PBteen— but it's always fun reorganizing and redecorating for the year ahead. As college students, we're always limited in terms of furniture and fire safety hazards (sadly, no Christmas lights for me), yet I've learned surrounding yourself with things that inspire you make your dorm feel more like a home. With a tough semester/school year of courses ahead, I kicked my current inspiration board up a notch and threw in lots of bright colors, motivating quotes, travel postcards I started collecting during my travels freshman year, and things I love. It's loud and over the top, but is that instant flash of delight I need after coming home from a long day or while studying late into the night. I've read it before, but am also a big believer in inspiration and visualization boards to also motivate you towards achieving a goal/dream (I had/have NYC postcards hanging right above my computer and glance at them daily).

Be bold.
Be bright.
Be you.
Always.
