I've seen photos of the Oxford Exchange all over my Instagram every time I go home to Florida, but since it's a three hour drive to Tampa from my house, I never went. Well, my mom and I finally bit the bullet and went for a mother-daughter excursion before I left for the summer. While it was quite a long drive (thanks mom), we definitely agreed it was well worth the journey!
I'm not quite sure how to accurately describe the Oxford Exchange other than to list what it contains: a coffee bar, book shop, offices, restaurant, furniture, consignment pieces, and even a cool wall gallery. The building is aesthetically perfect from the exposed brick walls to the birdcage chairs, black and white marble tile floors, and even the beautiful solarium, the Oxford Exchange is any Instagrammer's heaven. Stocked with an array of objects including beautiful coffee table books, vintage Louis Vuitton trunks, and fresh flowers, there is truly something for everyone at this place. Even fellow foodies can appreciate the scrumptious fare they offer. For lunch, I had a lavender infused Arnold Palmer and a brussels sprout sandwich that I will be dreaming about for eternity.
