I finally went to the Skywalk Observatory in the Prudential Center last weekend to oversee Boston from 749 feet in air. While part of the 360 degree view was closed off, it was surreal seeing BU (pictured above) and even my brownstone from that high up. I went at the perfect moment in the afternoon when the day transitioned into the night and the sun seemed to melt off the face of the earth. It seems like such a trivial tourist attraction, yet there was something so profound and inspiring seeing the city from this angle.
It was one of those simple fleeting moments in life that remain so vivid in your memory forever.
