I'm always up for trying new things and one thing I've always wanted to try was spinning. After having knee surgery almost two years ago, I'm still hesitant about trying intense fitness classes as I still have some sore days, but when Marshalls invited me to join them for a Boston Bloggers fitness event at Flywheel, I knew I had to attend!
I had an amazing time meeting and catching up with fellow bloggers like Emily of Shell Chic'd and Samantha of Fenway Fashionista. I had no idea what to expect from the class other than a lot of sweating, and boy did I sweat! After the first 15 minutes, my legs were burning and I admittedly questioned why I had committed to doing this. Even though many of us were first time spinners, it was intimidating keeping up with everyone; however, I let this intimidation turn to motivation and after the first 25 minutes I relaxed more and got "in the zone". The class really seemed to literally fly by and I has such a rush afterwards. I expected to be sore the next day, but surprising felt fine.
I definitely can't wait to take more classes in the future!
Thanks to Marshalls I was able to purchase the entire outfit pictured above for my class. Marshalls is known for its large assortment of discounted designer clothing and home goods, but they also have a large assortment of fitness wear to choose from including brands like New Balance, Nike, Under Armour, and Danskin. A lot of bloggers went for trendy printed leggings, wick-resisting jackets, or cropped pants, I put together this outfit because it matches my blog colors.;) The best part of my outfit though? All these pieces were purchased for under $50- perfect for a college student budget!
Thank you Marshalls and Flywheel!
