During Thanksgiving break, my friend David and I ventured out into the suburbs of Massachusetts and decided to visit the beautiful Crane's Estate. Spanning over 2,100 acres in Ispwich, the estate was a summer home for Chicago industrialist, Richard Crane, and completed by legendary architect, David Adler, in 1928. Unfortunately, the inside is not open to the public during this season, but their is more than enough to explore on the outside grounds. The estate sits on a hill that overlooks Crane Beach and has trail that leads into a small woods. Lucky me, New England had snow just the day before so I could throughly enjoy dashing around the grounds on such a beautiful afternoon.
