Dorm Style Round Two

Some girls want white picket fences when they grow up, but I always wanted a brownstone- specifically one with lots of character and charm. This year, my wish came true and I'm living in a beautiful 19th century Boston brownstone right on campus. I moved in only two days before school started (and spent too much time catching up with old friends than unpacking), so I've been gradually getting my room finished bit by bit. I kept my bedding from last year and decided to make a fun photo collage on my wall. I was disappointed that I didn't have any shelves above my desk this year, but my "shoe closet" more than makes up for it. I have a small stand alone closet (not pictured) for hanging up my clothes, but my shoe closet is a Carrie Bradshaw dream come true.
(P.S. if you're a huge Pride and Prejudice fan, this scene is all I could think of when I first opened my closet doors!)

My grandmother gave me a few of her antique figurines and I keep them tucked away on the inside ledge of the shelves.:)
