I've incredibly excited to announce today that I will be attending the Brave Life Summit hosted by Keds, Seventeen Magazine, TMI Agency, and the Girls Leadership Institute in NYC next month! I am incredibly honored to have received a grant to attend the summit where I will join other brave girls from across the country to listen to an inspiring group of leading women who are working to change the world. As many of my friends and family can attest, I absolutely love attending conferences (it's seriously becoming a hobby of mine) and I can't wait to meet other girls from across the country who share this passion of mine.
My bravest moment?
Last year I decided to pursue college instead of continuing my career as a competitive figure skater. While facing my senior year of high school and a serious knee injury, I realized my dream was to pursue a more "normal life" as a college student. After 13 years of living and breathing skating I was definitely afraid to drastically alter the path I was on, but I have never regretted my decision and still love to get on the ice every now and then!
