Freshman Year College Bucket List Update


Before coming to college, I made a huge bucket list of things I wanted to do before
graduating. I seriously can't believe how many I've crossed off during my first year.


2. Go to a Beanpot hockey game

3. Study abroad to London

4. Eat a real Boston Cream Pie

5. Find a cool vintage thrift store(s)

6. Get an internship

7. See a Broadway show in the Theater District

8. See the lighting of the Christmas tree in Boston Common

9. Have a picnic with friends in Boston Common during spring



12. Walk the Freedom Trail

13. Find the perfect lobster roll 

14. Go on a Salem ghost tour

15. Go to a Bruins game

16. Go to a Red Sox game 


18. Go skiing in the winter

19. Run along the Charles River 

20. Go sailing on the Charles River  

21. Find the perfect ice cream store...


23. Go to the Boston Harbor Islands

24. Go hiking in New England

25. Visit the Boston Public Garden

26. Runaway to NYC for the weekend
(Spring Break for a week!)

27. Take a Duck Tour

28. Learn how to play tennis

29. Take a ballroom dance class  
(First semester tango)

30. Go to Mike's Pastries in the North End

31. Try Indian food

32. Have dim sum in China Town

33. Go to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket

34. Watch the Boston Marathon

35. Watch a polo match

36. See the Boston Ballet

37. Gain a mentor

38. Learn a new language, preferably French

39. Have high tea with friends at the Taj Hotel

40. Find an amazing local diner

41. See a Boston Pops Concert

42. Visit Harvard Square 

43. Go to the Aquarium


45. See a concert at the House of Blues 

46. Go to the Isabella Gardner Museum 

47. Walk over the North Bridge in Concord, MA.

49. Visit Louisa May Alcott's home in Concord, MA.

48. Visit the Natural History Museum at Harvard.

49. Walk to Louisburg Square and Mt. Vernon Street in Beacon Hill

50. Visit Stockbridge, MA and see the Rockwell Museum

51. Take a whale watching cruise

52. Go kayaking in the Charles River

53. Walk up all 300+ steps at Bunker Hill 

54. Visit Portsmouth, NH

 I've still got work to do, but wow, what a year!
