Around Nantucket

As soon as I spotted the Brant Point Lighthouse as the ferry rolled into the dock, I knew I was going to fall in love with Nantucket. Despite going during the off season on a rainy, windy, and chilly weekend, it was everything I had imagined- and more. With no traffic lights, endless rolling dunes, and the smell of fresh saltwater, Nantucket was the perfect taste of summer I desperately needed. While most of the quaint shops were still closed, it was fun to just drive around the island and see all the gray shingled houses (often with fun names!) and of course, the iconic Sankaty Head Lighthouse.

I can't wait to go back when the hydrangeas are blooming and the water is warm.

  2. Isn't it just beautiful! I used to go as a kid in the summer and couldn't wait for the ferry to dock. I'm excited to take my son there soon! I love the photos Tia!
