Boston Ballet Visits Campus

Last week the Boston Ballet came to our campus perform excerpts from Bella Figura,
Resonance, and their newest show, Close to Chuck, that debuts February 20th-March 2014
at the Boston Opera House.

(Sorry in advanced for the low quality pictures, no flash)

With some pieces finished just days in advanced, it was an awesome experience
getting to see the dancers literally up close (second row!) and then have them
answer some questions from the audience afterwards.

The pieces we saw looked really innovative and unlike anything I've seen in ballet before!
Close to Chuck was created by choreographer Jorma Elo, inspired by the unique relationship
between artist Chuck Close and composer Philip Glass.

If you're a college student make sure to
They're only $20!
