Head of the Charles Regatta Part One

One of the top things on my college bucket list was to see the Head of the Charles Regatta.
(It might be #44 on the list, but they're not in order of favorites!)
The HOCR has been around for over 60 years and is the largest two day regatta in the world
with over 9,000 rowers. It's also called Head of the Charles Regatta because it is a "head race".

The weather in Boston held up beautifully for the regatta; it was a bit windy but the sun was still shining. My friend and I watched the races by Harvard, which was packed with thousands of spectators! While I know nothing about rowing or crew teams, I think rowing is such an exciting sport. It was so much fun feeding off of the energy around us and to feel that excitement as the rowers
went by. It was also nice to see family's out together, with all generations dressed in their preppiest nautical, fall attire, complete with the adorable family dog.

I loved stopping by Brooks Brothers' tent full of limited edition regatta themed clothing and accessories,
but what was the true highlight of the day was getting to see the Kiel James Patrick crew live in action!

The tent was swarming with hordes of anxious customers, but Sarah Vickers was gracious enough to step away and take a picture with me. I can assure you she is just as nice as she is beautiful.
She is a true class act.

Watching Kiel James Patrick paint custom bracelets.

I got one of the limited edition regatta bracelets!
A perfect match with my grandma's vintage bangles she happened to just sent me.
