Newbury Street

I am totally in love with city life. Sometimes I walk around Boston and
I still can't believe I live here.
I love walking everywhere, exploring new places, and have even been enjoying
city noise at night, that's when you know you truly love the city.

A few weeks ago, my roommate and I decided to go on our first trip on
the T to Newbury Street aka the Rodeo Drive of the East.

Newbury Street was actually once apart of the Boston Harbor until 1857 when the
area began to get filled in from 1860- 1882. All the buildings were constructed
in European design and was the most desirable place to live at the time (even
above Beacon Hill) because of their "modern technology" like coal furnaces and
indoor plumbing.

The street is home to so many high end and eclectic stores and boutiques
including Kate Spade, Warby Parker,  Brooks Brothers, Madewell, Longchamp, In
the Pink )A Lilly Store, Jack Wills, and...

Georgetown Cupcakes!!!

There chai tea lattes are delicious if you like yours more spicy then sweet and
honestly these are some of the best cupcakes ever.
I had their pumpkin spice last year and can't wait for it to return!

Jack Wills is a British clothing store targeted at college students with a
fun preppy touch.

Remember that Blue Porcelain post I did awhile ago?

And of course, Kate Spade is just charming and sososo cute.
