Visiting Lilly Pulitzer in Boca Raton, FL

Lilly Pulitzer is such a classic preppy brand. Her bright shifts and colorful prints have
been a staple among high society preps since the she began sewing these "Lillies" to hide
the juice stains from her orange juice stand business in Palm Beach, Florida. The fashion industry quickly began to take notice and soon clients like Saks Fifth Avenue and Jackie Kennedy were wearing her creations. In the 1980's Lilly closed her line, but thankfully for all of us preps it was revived in 1993 with Lilly serving as creative consultant. Sadly, Lilly passed away this past April, yet her bold prints and shifts will continue to live on for future generations of preppies.
Long Live Lilly!

From nautical anchors to sunny flowers or gator prints, Lilly Pulitzer's designs still evoke a classic country club prep style.

I am so in LOVE with that pillow!

All the stores have hand painted designs from a team of Lilly artists.

These are the dresses I bought on a really, really, really good sale!

My mom got the cutest gator tote in this print, too!

Sweater: J. Crew same print here | Shirt: J. Crew (old) | Jeans: GAP similar  | Sandals: J. Crew | Sunnies: Urban Outfitters

A special thank you to the lovely women at Lilly's Boca Raton store who helped make
the day all the more special. They could not have been more accommodating or kind.
If you're ever in Boca, make sure to stop on by!
